Welcome to the latest revision of our website. This is where we publish some of our own photographs of Scotland, also known to its natives as God's own country. No matter how hard we try to be dispassionate about it, we can't help feeling they are right. Please have a look at our photographs and see whether you agree. (We say "our" pictures but Maggie took most of them: some in fact while Jim was driving.)
To have a look at the pictures, please click on the 'Galleries' button above which will take you to the first gallery. From there you can use the links to move on to each gallery in turn. If you prefer, you can click on the links on the right which lead to individual galleries . Please be aware that, as each gallery now contains 12 large images, the page may take a few moments to open.
The "News & weather" page is designed to give a quick overview of what is happening in Scotland for those unlucky enough not to be there: the authors of this website are included in this group most of the time. The "Links" page contains a fairly haphazard selection of links to other websites in which you may (or may not) be interested. We used to have a lot of links to other websites with photographs of Scotland, but have discontinued this because many of the private (non-commercial) sites are no longer available, and there is nothing worse than a link which does not work.
The "Contact" page is there so that any casual, non-family, viewer can get a message to us about the website or the photographs thereon. If you do e-mail us, please put a meaningful subject on your message or it may well be classed as spam.
