Buachaille Etive Mor
This magnificent mountain stands guard over the top of Glencoe and Glen Etive.
A Scottish sea loch
Found all over the west of Scotland.
High moorland
This is very typically Scottish scenery.
Raasay and Skye
Raasay is the low-lying island trying unsuccessfully to conceal Skye.
Oystercatchers
We are not birdwatchers but do enjoy all wildlife. This pair looked as if they were posing for us.
Above Tyndrum
This picture will be familiar to anyone who knows the road out of Tyndrum towards Glencoe.
Rogie Falls
These falls are a bit of a scramble down from the road and car park, but well worth the trip.
Seascape
A very typical scene on the west coast of Scotland.
Rona view
What you can't see from this photograph is that the lucky inhabitants of this house, on the Applecross peninsula, have a view across Rona (the little island you can see) to the hills of Skye.
Glencoe
It is famous (or notorious) for its massacre, but the history books can't even begin to capture the atmosphere and beauty of the place.
Loch Ness shores
Isn't that typical? No sign of Nessie when you need her!
Loch Tulla
On the approach to Rannoch Moor.
