Ben More
This is the Perthshire Ben More, looking a bit volcanic in this shot.
Loch Leven
A little house on the other side of the loch, seen from Glen na Chulish.
Pine forest
Virtually ubiquitous in parts of the Highlands, but we are gradually seeing some broadleaf (deciduous) trees being planted, even if this is mainly on the edge of the pine plantation.
The Crannog
Seen here from nearby Kenmore, the crannog is a fascinating recreation of a historical dwelling. Well worth a visit.
Mackintosh Church
The only church to have been designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh is in the northwest of Glasgow.
A window in the Mackintosh church
Needs no description.
Loch Fyne
Only a couple of hours from the centre of Glasgow, but worlds apart.
Garvie Bay
On the Assynt coast, between Ullapool and Lochinver.
Road to Bealach na Ba
Bealach na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) is on the road to Applecross. The road signs inset into the bottom corners of the photograph are very apt.
Stac Pollaidh
We couldn't resist showing you another picture of this beautiful mountain.
Torridon view
Another picture of this delightful area.
Millport
A traditional holiday resort for Glaswegians until package holidays to Spain came along, it is still very popular for day trips and short breaks.
