The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity, and aims to restore broadleaf forests to much of the UK. They run several sites in Scotland including Glen Finglas, seen in one of our photographs.

The West Highland Way runs from Milngavie, in the suburbs of Glasgow, to Fort William 152 kilometres (95 miles) away. Several of our photographs were taken on or near this wonderful public footpath.

We are the proud owners of a Saab 9-5 and have recently had some work done by an excellent firm with very down-to-earth attitudes: if you are a Saab owner living anywhere south of Birmingham and east of Bristol we can recommend them for top-quality specialist work at prices way below that of main dealers.

Jim has recently discovered CSS (cascading style sheets: a way to lay out web pages) and wants to thank a couple of people who provided the inspiration. They are Stu Nicholls, the source of some of the CSS used in this website, and Patrick Griffiths, the author of a great textbook on the subject. Jim also wants to emphasise that any CSS and HTML errors are all his own work, however!
As mentioned on our homepage, we have removed the links to other sites with Scottish pictures. You can find these easily enough by using your favourite search engine anyway.
